This historic home in Highgate, Vermont built in 1818 by the Keyes family and was once owned by Dr. Baxter who paid to have the dam across the road rebuilt and leased the use of the dam to what is now our local electric company. He was well known in the community and has continued to live on in local legend. Our home has antique furnishings but has the comforts of home with comfortable bedding, internet, television and appliances. We are dog friendly and inclusive. Laundry facilities available.
